Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Abracos application and its loyalty features.
Last updated: 13 August 2026
1. About Abracos
Abracos is provided by ABRAÇOS & ALOHAS, UNIPESSOAL, LDA, NIF/NIPC PT517706814, Rua de Miguel Bombarda, 316, 4050-377 Porto, Portugal. Contact us at abracos@abracos.app.
By creating an account or using Abracos, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Abracos helps Customers record eligible activity at participating hospitality Venues and view Venue-funded loyalty benefits such as progress, discounts and Coupons. Venue staff record supported transactions and redemptions; Abracos is not the seller of food, drinks or other goods purchased from a Venue.
Availability, eligibility, duration and value of a benefit may depend on the participating Venue’s published offer. Benefits already earned remain subject to the specific conditions shown with them and applicable law.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, use an email address you control and protect access to your email and device. Each person must use their own account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or QR code is being used without authorization.
Venue and platform permissions are personal and may be used only for authorized work. Do not share privileged access or use it without a legitimate operational need.
4. Abraços, rewards and payments
Abraços and other loyalty records are measurements used by the service. They are not money, stored value, a bank account, electronic money or a general means of payment. They cannot be withdrawn as cash, transferred between Customers or used outside the conditions of the relevant Venue benefit.
Payment for goods remains between you and the Venue. If a transaction or Customer match appears wrong, report it through support. A report does not automatically cancel a purchase or change the loyalty record while it is reviewed.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse QR codes, create false transactions, obtain benefits dishonestly, interfere with security, access another person’s account, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, upload unlawful material or harm another person, a Venue or the service.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect people or the service, comply with law or enforce these terms, taking account of the circumstances and applicable consumer rights.
6. Service availability and changes
We work to keep Abracos available and accurate, but networks, devices and third-party services can fail. We may maintain, update or change the service. Where a change materially affects an existing right or benefit, we will provide notice where required.
Public Venue information is supplied or approved by Venues and may change. Contact the Venue about its products, opening hours, accessibility, payment or fulfilment of a purchase.
7. Intellectual property
Abracos software, branding and original content belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. Venue names, logos and content remain the property of their owners.
8. Ending use
You may stop using Abracos and permanently delete your account through Profile → Privacy & security → Delete account. Read our account deletion information first.
We may end or suspend access for serious or repeated breach, security risk, legal necessity or discontinuation, subject to applicable law.
9. Responsibility and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a right that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, each party is responsible for loss that is a reasonably foreseeable result of its breach. We are not responsible for an independent Venue’s goods, services or acts.
If you are a consumer, mandatory protections and the courts available under the law of your residence continue to apply. These terms are otherwise governed by Portuguese law.
10. Privacy, support and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. For questions or complaints, visit Support.
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and give additional notice where required. Continuing to use the service after an effective update means the updated terms apply, subject to mandatory law.
